Here 'ear!

Happy Sunday you lot! How is it going? I hope you’re all having a really lovely weekend, despite the rather grey and rainy weather.  What has everybody been up to? Comment below.  This blog-post is a rather exciting and special one for me, because it’s my first ever collaboration! I’ve teamed up with my good friend Erin, to showcase some of her beautiful handcrafted earrings.

It was a wee bit of a pinch me moment when Erin got in touch to say that she’d like me to style up some of her earrings, I can tell you.  Founded in May 2020, Erin’s company, Chandelier & Skittles, has been creating beautiful hand-made polymer clay pieces in a range of different styles and shapes.  She is very active on Instagram, and sells her pieces via her Etsy page. You can find all of the details below.  She also offers free UK delivery and eco-friendly packaging, which is a major bonus in my mind.  Erin very very kindly sent me three pairs of earrings to style up and review for you all, which I want to show you below:

Lady of the Night earrings

Bright and Bold baby pink earrings

Blue and Spotty dangle circle earrings

All three sets of earrings are so beautifully made, and look really flattering with your hair in a low-bun, or with your hair tucked behind your ear like I’ve done here (side-note, see me in this cosy grey Zara jumper for the foreseeable future).  Whatsmore, they are super lightweight, which is essential for these drop style of earrings in my mind.  I wore the Lady of the Night earrings all day yesterday, and they didn’t feel heavy at all - bonus!  They also didn’t irritate my ears.

What I really like about these pieces are their versatility.   I think in each case, you can rock these earrings throughout the day, but they can also easily make their way in to your evening-wear look.  I mean, how nice would these look with some tailoring and a low-bun .. swoon. Sometimes, it's nice to let your accessories do all of the talking!

When you receive your package from Chandelier & Skittles, prepare yourself for a treat.  Inside your box, as well your earrings, you’ll receive a personalised thank you note, some sweet little stickers, and some skittles - I mean, what’s not to love.  You feel like Erin has really taken the time to package up each delivery with love and care.

I’m also really excited to be able to tell you all that you can get 10% off your order on Erin’s Etsy page, when you use the code ELLIE10 - this offer runs all the way up to 23rd December 2020, so that’s your Christmas presents sorted guys! I really think there’s going to be a style for everyone on Erin’s page - she’s even recently released some Halloween themed pieces.

So yes, a huge thank you to Erin for reaching out and making this collaboration happen - I’m hopeful that this could be the first of many, and am really looking forward to seeing you guys rock these beautiful pieces.  I hope you’ve enjoyed this blog-post - something a wee bit different for me!
